WILL THE LAUNCH DATE MOVE?

Rocket launches are notorious for being postponed or scrubbed. Crew-10 was already pushed back from a previously scheduled February launch date for further qualification of SpaceX’s crew capsule. â€‹

As such, the day of the offsite may shift slightly in March or we may have to schedule different dates for the offsite for Q2. We will provide more information as the launch window approaches.

The current dates are tentative based on estimates of SpaceX's launch schedule. We will update the team as soon as those launch dates are officially confirmed.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE LAUNCH GETS SCRUBBED?

If the launch date gets postponed while we're in Florida and the next attempt is within 48 hours, we'll do our best to extend the offsite for whoever wants to say. This will depend on flights, lodging availability, client needs, etc. There is a non-zero chance we don't see the rocket launch, but in that case we'll still have a good time exploring Kennedy Space Center and relaxing on the beach!

WILL WE BE WORKING DURING THE OFFSITE?

We have blocked out dedicated periods on the first and final day of the offsite for independent work. On the day of the rocket launch, everyone will be offline. Please notify your clients well in advance of the offsite and make sure all client needs are covered in your absence.

HOW WILL WE GET TO THE OFFSITE?

On the first travel day you'll call an Uber for transport from your home to the airport. Once you arrive in Orlando, you will take an Uber to Cocoa Beach. HAUS employees in NYC will meet at the office and travel to the airport together.
